Nightingale Nursing Awards Honor Pennsylvania Nurses for Excellence
Nightingale Awards of Pennsylvania annually selects finalists and recipients from among the Pennsylvania nurses who have been nominated for excellence. Criteria include how the nurse significantly influences the quality of patient care, creates a collaborative environment for the practice of nursing, models caring and compassion, and contributes to healing and health in the community.
Award categories capture many levels of nursing specialties: bedside, advanced practice, informatics, leadership, education, research, and community. Special awards offer other forms of recognition.
